Breaking: Second construction worker dies

In the second incident of its type to occur in the past four days, another construction worker has died on site after a tragic accident

A construction worker in his thirties was killed in an accident this morning when a metal platform he was walking on gave way.
 
Channel NewsAsia writes that four workers – all foreigners – were involved in the incident which caused them to fall from a height of about two stories.
 
The accident occurred at a work site near the Central Expressway and Yio Chu Kang Flyover. The Singapore Civil Defence Force was alerted to the incident at approximately 11am.
 
One worker was killed and three were taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. One of these is said to be in critical condition.
 
This is the second fatal accident of the past four days after a Bangladeshi man was struck and killed by falling concrete on Saturday.
