Understand that childcare leave is cap at 6 days per year. However, if there are a parents with 2 children who are below 7 years old, childcare leave is entitled to claim up to 10 days for each parents & the last 4 days need to be covered by MC for the child.

Anyone heard about this from MOM rules? There is no related inform from MOM website.

    Dear Melissa,

As per the law, yes, you are right. 6 days for Childcare Leave for parents whose children (Singaporeans) are less than 7 years old.
    Nothing more than that.

I think your company is providing staff benefit in this case, allowing you to use child MC and claim under MC for up to 4 days, if your childcare leave has been fully utilised - 6 days.

    Regards,
