The issue is how can leaders and managers manage the behaviours of their staff? Tolerating behaviours leads to those behaviours becoming the norm - they set a precedent that can lead the organisation to disaster. Re integrity, it is important for banks to test the pressure points in the organisation: By identifying the week points (i.e. the points where employees are more susceptible to doing the wrong thing) the banks will be able to address inappropriate behaviours. Managing behaviours is not only good business, it is also about managing risks.
