While employees now have to work for three years before being eligible for retrenchment benefits, that period will soon reduce to two years

Whilst the amount of compensation is not fixed by law and needs to be negotiated between employee and employer. Are there any guidelines or past precedents on what is the acceptable compensation amount for Employees on retrenchment

Whilst as per the MOM regulations, the amount of compensation is not fixed by law and it will have to be negotiated between employee and employer. However would appreciate if anyone can revert on what are the norms followed by companies in Singapore and are there any precedents wherein MOM has given any guidelines for the amount of compensation.
