Talent specialists appoint new APAC director

Armstrong Craven's new APAC regional director will help employers address Asia's growing talent challenges

Talent specialists appoint new APAC director

Global talent mapping and pipelining specialist Armstrong Craven has appointed Helen Coult as its new Asia Pacific (APAC) regional director.

Coult has over 15 years’ experience in executive search, recruitment and talent consultancy and has been with Armstrong Craven for just over three years.

She will continue to work with a number of her global clients alongside her new role driving growth for Armstrong’s wider business across APAC.

“The Asia Pacific talent market has matured considerably in recent years and we are seeing a strong appetite to take a more strategic approach to talent acquisition,” said Rachel Davis, deputy CEO at Armstrong.

“Helen was the natural choice to become Director, Asia Pacific. She already has a strong knowledge of the region and is fully attuned to the talent challenges and opportunities that exist.”

Some of the topics that Coult will help employers address include diversity and the rising competition for talent in times of tech disruption.

“Clients turn to us to ensure they identify and attract the best candidates for their senior and scarce roles,” Coult said.

“This is a hugely exciting time to be moving to Singapore and I look forward to partnering with both global and Asian clients to put in place high quality talent acquisition strategies.”

She was previously senior global client partner for the company’s consumer and industrial division.

Coult’s appointment follows an announcement earlier this month that Olivia Wynn will be Armstrong’s first Director, Switzerland with responsibility for its new Geneva office.

The move builds on the company’s year-on-year growth it has achieved since opening its Singapore office three years ago.
